You should also use this page to introduce your customers to your products or services.
The home page is the perfect place to show off your most popular products or services, so make sure you highlight them prominently.
You’ll also want to make sure the main visual (aka the “hero image”) clearly communicates the purpose of your website. You can do this by using a high-quality image that showcases your products or services.
Finally, you’ll need to create a call to action (CTA) for your home page. This is the button or text that encourages your customers to take the next step, whether it’s signing up for your newsletter, buying a product, or contacting you for more information.
The Best ECommerce Platform Tips: Always Make it Easy To Contact You
Your contact page should include some basic information about you and your business, such as your name, address, and phone number. You can also use this page to provide links to your social media profiles so customers can connect with you on their favorite platform.
You may also want to include a map of your location so customers can find you easily. And don’t forget to include a contact form so customers can easily get in touch with you.
Forms can be found within the Shopify platform or you can use a free form builder like Wufoo or JotForm.
Terms of Service
Your terms of service (TOS) are important because they outline the legal agreement between you and your customers. It should also outline the products and services you offer, as well as your return policy and refund policy.
You may also want to include a section on Intellectual Property Rights so customers know who owns the copyright for any images or content on your website.
Finally, be sure to have a section on Cookies Policy so customers know how you’re using their data. Data collection is a hot button issue, so addressing this in your Terms of Service is key.
One of the many things I love about Shopify is that they provide a template for your terms of service copy, so I recommend starting there.

Your policy pages are an important part of your website because they outline the rules for doing business with you. Your shipping policy should include information about your shipping methods and rates.
It’s also a good idea to outline any restrictions you may have, such as which countries you ship to or how much your customers need to spend before free shipping kicks in.
Your return policy is equally important, especially during the holiday season when returns tend to spike.
You’ll want to make sure that your customers know what products are eligible for return, as well as the deadline for returning items. And don’t forget to specify who pays for shipping both ways!
If you make custom projects and do not allow returns, make sure to specify this in the Returns policy section. You’ll also want to address it in the refunds section.
Including all of the above increases your eligibility for the Verified Merchant Program, which I advise all of my clients to apply for. If you are rejected, it’s likely because one of these policies are missing from your home page or your website.

Your product pages are where you showcase your products and encourage customers to buy them. Your product page should include high-quality images of your products, as well as a brief description of what they are and what they do.
